Morgan State University
Morgan State University is an HBCU located in Baltimore, Maryland. It was founded in 1872 as the Centenary Biblical Institute, and was renamed in 1890 after Reverend Lyttleton Morgan, the first chairman in its Board of Trustees. Since then, the school has gone through some notable changes. MSU started as a Methodist Episcopal seminary that trained men in the ministry, now it is the largest HBCU in Maryland and it helps give students a better education in many subjects.
